About Tim

Tim joined Crown CFO in 2017 and has over 15 years of experience at progressive levels of finance and accounting. Tim’s most recent position was Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer of RD Johnson Excavating Co. Over the 12+ years he worked there, he helped the company grow from 46 employees to over 100 employees and saw revenue double. Tim helped guide RD Johnson through sale preparations, the transaction itself, and post-acquisition integration to a national vertically integrated construction company. Tim began his career working as a CPA at KPMG in Kansas City working primarily with small to medium sized clients in Kansas and Missouri. Tim earned Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration as well as a Masters of Accounting, all from the University of Kansas.
