About Me

Mike DeMaio is the Founder and Managing Director of Crown CFO. His career spans more than 20 years of varied experience and proven expertise guiding businesses with financial insight. He leads an exceptional team of CFOs who provide top tier advisory and analysis for prominent clients around Kansas City.   Mike started Crown in 2015 after recognizing the number of companies that needed an experienced financial advisor but did not have the budget or need to hire a permanent full time CFO. It was apparent that every business could benefit from financial leadership to successfully expand in the right direction.   Crown CFO has since flourished and in 2021, was named one of the 50 fastest growing companies in Kansas City.   Mike is involved in the Kansas City community and currently volunteers through Blue Valley Recreation. He enjoys spending time with his family, exploring Kansas City and playing the guitar.

Prior Experience

Prior to founding Crown, Mike was the CFO of M.A. Associates, Inc & M.A. Energy Resources, LLC, where he managed the companies financial functions for the processing and brokering of alternative solid fuels. Before this, he was the former CFO of Ascend Integrated Media, a Kansas City based custom media company.
